Dog gone it!

Here is the same 3d doggie built in Hexagon and rendered in Bryce. I also built the bowl next to him. It looks like some one is stealing doggie food! I am working toward getting him rigged and moving....stay tuned!

Concept Doggie

Photobucket
This is a concept doggie that I built in Hexagon 2.5. He is a WIP (work in progress) still needs a lot of work ie: rigging and texturizing *sigh* but I will get there!

He is a simple creation, that I enjoyed doing. No sketches involved, he came about from doodling

Thank you for looking!

Model Monument

model monument by Pamyla

I scribbled this image and then exported it into Hexagon 2.5. It is a simple render of a pair of fantasy wings.

Flying Hearts

Flying Hearts image by Pamyla

A couple of friends of mine Lorie and Wanda were talking about how much they love watching love stories. I don't care for them, but came up with this image.

I drew the heart and then created a 3D version of it. For the weird wings, I just played and created them in 3D.

I was being sarcastic when I put the wings on crooked and off balance. Neither of them think that this is a funny image, maybe you will. What do you think?

Hexagon Carafe

Carafe by Pamyla

I sure have missed playing with Hexagon! I have been working on learning 3D modeling, when I came across blender 3D, and decided to jump ship. *sigh* So far, I have about 20 products from Hexagon and 2 from blender lol
. What made me jump ship in the first place? Well Hexagon does not have a render engine, whereas blender has a built in renderer, game engine, rigging capabilities etc. I could actually produce a short animated movie (a dream of mine) but the proggie is really hard to learn. The interface and tools really get to me. Now I am back with my love Hexagon and still producing simple projects, but at least I am producing something...it's a back to the drawing board type of thing.
But for me it is frustrating. I really want to create and.produce my own characters and a short film. So, the time that I put into blender, I could have invested getting to know Hexagon better. Isn't life just funny like that? The moral of this story: **Haste makes waste **
What do you think?

TestRender P

Playing in blender. I find Hexagon a lot easier to maneuver and create in, but blender 3d offers so much more within its package.

I drew a P, build it in blender, colored and rendered it, nothing fancy. thanks for looking

Help and critique are always appreciated

3D Me

3D rendition of myself, created in Poser. This was interesting to say the least. It didn't startle me as much as I thought it would. I created the background in Bryce
