EDM #98--Free Choice

Here is my EDM #98--Free Choice. Well as you can I did take the liberty of drawing anything I darn well pleased! lol.

Actually this is from an online tutorial, and incase you didn't recognize it, this is an avacado.

It is done without laying down any begining lines, but using squigglys instead to shape and form the fruit. This is a great lesson in values using HB, 2H and 2B pencils. I plan on redoing it. I learned a lot.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend :)

Nice technique! I can imagine using that to draw some animals, too.

It has a wonderful furry texture -- you could almost believe it was a kiwi -- YUM!

Did you know that in New Zealand they sell kiwi juice the way we sell orange juice here in the US? I got hooked on kiwi juice when I was there for a month in '05, and now I can't even afford SINGLE kiwis (in Oregon).

Really nice line work here...almost hypnotic in a way...cool!

Thanks for popping in for a visit on by blog...Your comment was hilarious...Brad Pitt Pens...I kinda like the sound of that! Actually, the truth is the pens are Faber-Castell Pitt pens...I bought them at my local art store...they come in various pen sizes, 3 colors in permanent ink...black, brown, and sepia...are disposable and travel well-don't leak. I really enjoy them..especially if I want to use watercolor with them. :)
